Cody Zumwalt Winchester
Cody specializes in intellectual property protection and licensing, regularly representing clients whose trademarks rank among the top 100 global brands as identified by Interbrand/Business Week's annual survey and whose licensed properties rank among the top 100 global properties as measured by Global License. Cody counsels clients on issues related to technology, trademark, and copyright protection, licensing, and development on a daily basis. She has litigated numerous Lanham Act cases and successfully recovered numerous domain names in Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy proceedings. She served as the Yale Law Journal Book Reviews Editor (1994-1995) and clerked for United States Federal District Court Judge Dale A. Kimball (1997-1999). She has been repeatedly selected by her peers as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” in the category of Intellectual Property (Utah Business Magazine).
