We build valuable patent and trademark portfolios to protect our clients' most important business assets.  We have successfully enforced the intellectual property rights of our clients in a variety of forums, and have successfully defended our clients against charges of infringement brought by others.  Federal courts across the country have selected for publication dozens of decisions involving our attorneys, many of which have favorably developed case law to the benefit of our clients.  Our efforts to establish favorable trademark-protection precedent include two opinions named “Trademark Opinions of the Year” by the International Trademark Association: Ford Motor Co. v. Lloyd Design Corp., 184 F. Supp.2d 665 (E.D. Mich. 2002) and Au-Tomotive Gold, Inc. v. Volkswagen of America, Inc., 457 F.3d 1062 (9th Cir. 2006), representing Volkswagen on and following appeal.  Our firm was recently chosen as the winner of the 2014 Corporate INTL Magazine Global Award as the Intellectual Property Firm of the Year in Utah as well as the 2012 Corporate INTL Magazine Global Award as the Trademark Firm of the Year in Utah.
